Hybrid Teaching System of the Medical Faculty
From pandemic stopgap to permanent hybrid infrastructure in the faculty’s lecture halls.
From June 2021 we made the faculty’s lectures hybrid: in lecture hall L10, in the interconnected halls B1–B4 and in the multimedia room — with up to three simultaneous camera angles, lecture-hall audio including a return channel for questions from Zoom, and extra monitors for lecturers.
At the start of winter term 2021/22 the system was officially rolled out with a demonstration in L10 together with the dean of studies’ office and the IfAS, then extended to further rooms.
The stopgap became infrastructure: today the faculty’s hybrid system runs on the UNIVERSE platform — MeDocs supports its build-out and operation to this day.
